The Action Clutch 10in Twin Disc race kit is engineered specifically for dedicated high powered race vehicles, delivering durability and reliable performance. This is the chosen clutch for those making serious power, supporting up to 1,250tq! This unit features two unsprung 6 puck MIBA Ceramic Discs, with some very light engagement noise/chatter. Our strapped pressure plate is cut from 6061-T6 Billet Aluminum for maximum weight savings and durability. Paired with a lightweight Chromoly Steel Flywheel for optimal balance of the assembly and superior strength. This kit comes with a premium hydraulic release bearing which will offer a lighter clutch pedal making the clutch more comfortable to modulate. No compromises were made in this kit, ensuring optimal performance even under extreme conditions. This kit is not intended for daily use and should only be used in race applications.

100 street miles / Keep RPM’s under 4500, no more than half-throttle, no boost (if applicable).
Proper break-in is required in order to retain product warranty, ensure longevity and holding capacity.
Disclaimers
Using a clutch kit with an unsprung clutch disc on a stock or lightly modified power engine that is daily/street driven vehicle can break the rivets on the clutch disc hub. Unsprung clutch kits are not designed for daily/street use or any constant on/off engagement environment. This can be compared to running a marathon in sandals vs a proper running shoe. If you were to run the marathon ins sandals, you have no cushion or comfort and can cause injuries or wear you down faster than using proper running shoes.

Are ACT clutches balanced?
Yes! All ACT clutch assemblies are computer spin balanced to within .25 oz-in to guarantee help smooth operation across the entire RPM range. For comparison, stock production clutches are typically balanced to within .50 oz-in. Lower is definitely better!
Will an ACT clutch increase pedal effort?
ACT pressure plates are specifically designed to handle high torque applications. With ACT's durable design, expect an increase in pedal effort between 15-40% (Heavy Duty) and 50-80% (Xtreme), depending on the application. Clutches developed with less pedal effort often result in a lack of longevity, torque capacity and/or engagement quality.
Do ACT clutches require a break-in period?
For organic street discs, we recommend breaking in the clutch for 300-500 miles with mild engagement, such as stop-and-go city driving prior to racing or spirited driving. ACT race discs usually only require a few hard slips to lap in the surfaces prior to normal driving or racing. Do not overheat the clutch during the break-in period, as this can result in friction surfaces fusing together, hot spots, and friction surface glazing.
Are ACT clutches repairable or rebuildable?
In some situations, rebuilds or repairs may be possible (see warranty), after inspection of the clutch assembly. Please contact our technical department for further information. Because of special modifications, we do not recommend servicing by a general clutch rebuilder.
How much does an ACT clutch weigh?
The weight of the ACT clutch assembly will usually be the same as a stock OEM clutch assembly.
