High-Copper Clutch Disc
Our High-Copper sprung disc offers a really nice fine engagement when using any of our clutch covers. GRIP spring retainers utilize wrap around spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. With the High Copper, spring-centered race disc engagement is nice and smooth. The High Copper, spring-centered disc is recommended for any car application. The disc can absorb twice more amount of heat then a regular OEM disc. Also, proven to last more than your basic oem set up. 200 mile break-in is mandatory to receive the best results.

The disc spring is the center section of a clutch disc in which we add stronger springs with a semi-closed retainer to prevent any springs from popping out and destroying another important part in your engine. Our spring-type disc are used worldwide to put an end to all engine and driveline noise by absorbing vibrations. This provides you a comfortable driving style.
The CSC is mounted inside the bell housing where the release bearing retainer is normally attached. This unique design offers a durable and long life due to the strong design that was engineered. It gives the bearing a better travel with better alignment geometry, and closer fit to the transmission which increases flexibility in passenger compartment design. Our material includes high-strength T6061 aluminum casing and high-temperature grease to ensure highest performance when shifting at high RPM's. A CSC uses a large coil spring to maintain constant contact between the bearing face and diaphragm spring fingers. Therefore, no “lost travel” is required between the release bearing and diaphragm spring before the clutch pressure plate begins to disengage. Many of our competition's CSC style has a plastic body CSC designs include plastic shipping straps attached to the plastic bushing and to the body. These straps compress the overall length of the unit during installation, which means the pushrod does not need to be compressed in order to clear the release lever. If the hydraulic system has been properly bled, the straps will break when the first stroke of the clutch pedal moves the pushrod forward. All our parts are manufactured from ISO/TS 16949 and 14001 certified facilities to ensure a defective free and high quality product.
Important Note: This is the Hydraulic Throw-out Bearing / Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) assembly found inside the bellhousing of the transmission.
